Crazy Rich Asians
This incredible film is stacked with characters that we can relate to and others who are out of this world. This movie is just like any other in regards to not feeling welcome by people who think they are better than you. We are introduced to a couple, Rachel and Nick, who love however Nick is keeping a secret. They travel to Singapore for Nick’s best friends wedding and Rachel does not know what she is in for. Nick’s family is wealthy and owns half of Singapore which comes with its own responsibilities. Nick was the bachelor every one wanted to be with and Rachel, an outsider, got him. Some of the women in this film are jealous and will stop at nothing to discourage and get Rachel out of the way. I loved this comedy because we got to know the characters and understand why some of these people act a certain way. This movie is filled with culture, family, extravaganza and a beautiful images.
